PROJECTS
PROJECT 1
The Creative Catalyst Foundation worked with ACCESS Chinatown for the 2025 summer! We visited this faith-based nonprofit in Boston's Chinatown every Tuesday to lead art lessons, providing accessible, quality art education to lower-income Chinese immigrant families.
Project 1
- 23 volunteer art teachers from 8 different schools across Massachusetts
- Taught 35 students (K–6th grade)
- Each classroom received 9 hours of dedicated art instruction
- 4 students had their artwork accepted for publication in the Celebrating Art Summer 2025 Competition

PROJECT 2
The Creative Catalyst Foundation partnered with
Sunrise of Burlington, starting in Fall 2025, to lead weekly art workshops for senior residents. Over the course of nine weeks, our team facilitated creative, hands-on sessions designed to encourage self-expression, relaxation, and meaningful social connection. Beyond teaching, our student volunteers built genuine relationships with residents, learning from their stories and experiences while sharing the joy of art together.

Project 2
- Hosted 18 total hours of art workshops over 9 weeks (2-hour weekly sessions)
- Introduced a wide range of crafts and artistic mediums, from guided projects to open-ended creative activities
- Created a supportive space for expression, conversation, and intergenerational connection
