Creative Catalyst Foundation is overseen by an adult Board of Directors who provide guidance and ensure compliance, while programs are led and run by a student leadership team.
I’m Christina Xiao, a high school student at Lexington High School and the founder of the Creative Catalyst Foundation. As a nationally recognized student artist, I’ve seen firsthand how access to quality art education can shape confidence, creativity, and personal growth.
As someone fortunate to grow up with strong art instruction and mentorship, I know many students do not have the same opportunities. Financial barriers and limited resources often prevent children from exploring their interests, especially in the arts.
Through the Creative Catalyst Foundation, I get to work with other student artists to provide free art education to underserved communities. Our goal is to help students discover their creative potential in a supportive and inclusive environment. The organization and this website are primarily student-run and managed by me, with guidance as needed
